A new mechanic to Injustice 2 is the addition of Roll escapes. By dashing forward twice and meter burning, you can use one bar of your meter and somersault over a significant distance. Not only can you go through your opponents, but it’s also perfect to stop that Deadshot or any other projectile based character that’s been firing shots from the other side of the screen for the past two minutes. The only way it can be countered is with a throw but personally, you’re moving so fast I don’t expect anyone would see it coming.

Roll escape forward, get the jump on that projectile fiend, and punish with a combo that makes them think twice about their current fighting strategy.
