Final Fantasy XV: How to Remodel Weapons

REMODELING WEAPONS – FINAL FANTASY XV

Getting stronger weapons in games usually requires you to just buy better ones, but in Final Fantasy XV you have the chance to remodel your weapons. This means that once everything is said and done, your weapon will be stronger than before.

You won’t be able to remodel your weapons for the first couple of chapters, so you’ll have to wait a bit before this becomes an option. Once it does, you can head over to Hammerhead where Cid is and you’ll notice a yellow plus sign next to the name of the weapon in your inventory. That means Cid can remodel it, but first he’ll need certain materials to do so. You won’t be given a mission to find the materials needed, so you’ll need to look for it on your own.

When you first remodel your weapon it shouldn’t take too long, but the more you do it, the longer he’ll take. That means you’ll have to find ways to pass the time such as camping, or completing a few side quests and main missions. While you might get annoyed by the longer wait time, it will be worth it in the end when you have strong weapons to go against stronger enemies.  Sadly, not all weapons can be remodeled so make sure to keep an eye out for those that have the yellow plus sign.
