Musou Stars Adds Nioh’s William as a Playable Character, Here’s a Trailer

Big surprise.
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Musou Stars is Koei Tecmo’s latest musou game that features an all-stars cast taken from all of their most popular games. Nioh was released just a couple of weeks ago, and it’s received quite a bit of critical acclaim. It’s no surprise, then, that Koei Tecmo has deigned to add William, the game’s protagonist, to the cast. You can check out his introduction trailer down below.

It is a little jarring to see William going up against the brain-dead soldiers that seem to be ever-present in every musou game ever made, especially if you’re just coming from the deep and complex battle system that Nioh offered. In addition to William, Musou Stars will also feature popular characters from Toukiden, Ninja Gaiden, Dynasty Warriors, the Atelier series, and more.

Musou Stars is set to be released for the PS4 and PS Vita on March 30 in Japan. The game has not been announced for a western release just yet. We’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way.
