How to Restore Health in Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age
You’ll be facing countless dangerous enemies and bosses as you adventure through Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, many of which will pose quite the challenge for you. Because of this, you’ll constantly want to know the best way to restore your party’s health throughout the game. Luckily, The Zodiac Age makes it fairly easy to do so by giving you different options.
The first and easiest way to restore your characters’ health is by simply going to a save crystal. Whenever you touch one of these crystals your party’s HP and MP will be completely restored, making it the best option after you’ve trecked through a dangerous dungeon. Of course, you’ll need a way to heal between crystals, and that happens with either items or magic.
Every character can use items by bringing up the battle menu when hitting X, and the usual Potions, Hi-Potions, etc. are what you’re going to want to use to restore health. Items can be bought from most merchants in the world, as long as they have the little jar icon above them on the map, or if they just offer every kind of purchase.
Multiple jobs in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age can use healing magic, such as White Mage, Red Mage, and Archer. It’s vitally important that you make sure someone in your party has access to healing magic, as items can start costing you quite a bit of gil if that’s all you’re using. To use healing magic you’ll first need to unlock the node on your character’s License Board that allows its use and then purchase the spell. Spells can be purchased from magic merchants like the one on the top right side of the map in Rabanastre, or again from merchants that sell everything. After that simply bring up the battle menu with X and select the spell you want to use to restore health.
That’s all you need to know to ensure your party is never too low on health. For more tips and guides on Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, make sure to check back with Twinfinite.
