Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn director Naoki Yoshida took to the game’s official forums last week to share a few exclusive screenshots from the upcoming expansion, Stormblood. The screenshots showed off his character decked out in Samurai and Red Mage gear, hanging around some of the new areas that will be featured in the expansion. These areas include the Ruby Sea and the Azim Steppe.

In the game’s forums, Yoshida mentioned that the team was hard at work every day, preparing for the launch of the expansion. He’s also been performing checks on not just the new jobs available in Stormblood, but also pre-existing ones to make sure they have no issues going through the newer content. You can check out the screenshots in the gallery down below.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood is set to be released for the PS4 and PC. Unfortunately, it will not be available on the PS3, so PS3 users will have to upgrade to the PS4 version of the game. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Let us know in the comments down below.
