The Evil Within 2: How to Craft Items

To Field Craft or not to Field Craft?

Crafting Items in The Evil Within 2

Recommended Videos

As you make your way about Union, the new STEM town in The Evil Within 2, you’ll pick up various items and components which can be used to craft useful resources that will help you out. This includes ammo, crossbow bolts, and even medical syringes, which can be pretty hard to find.

There are two ways to craft. The first is by using a workbench, which can be located in any safe house around Union. Simply enter the safe house, look for the workbench and interact with it, and you’ll be able to access the crafting menu where you can see the available items and the required materials. From here, select the item you want to craft, and hold down the X button (or the B button if you’re on Xbox One) to complete the crafting process.

If you’re nowhere near a workbench and you need to craft something urgently, that can be done as well. Open up the Arsenal weapon wheel and select the Field Crafting option. This will bring up the crafting menu. However, do note that Field Crafting will require you to spend more resources to craft an item, making this method a lot less cost-efficient than at a workbench. Only use this method if absolutely necessary.
