The British Academy Games Awards for 2016 have been announced and there’s some good news for Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. The 2015 indie title leads the way with a total of ten nominations.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture has been nominated for Artistic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Best Game, British Game, Game Innovation, Music, Original Property, Story, and two for Performance.
Both Her Story and The Witcher 3 have each received seven nominations and Batman: Arkham Knight, Life is Strange, and Rocket League have each received five nominations.
Four nominations have gone to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Until Dawn.
The nominees for Best Game are Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Fallout 4, Life is Strange, MGS5, Rocket League, and The Witcher 3.
The awards show will take place on April 7 at the Tobacco Dock, London, and will be hosted by comedian and gamer Dara O’Briain. The award show will be broadcast via Twitch.
