Deracine

déraciné

Deracine is an interesting VR game. Although it’s developed by From Software, the minds behind the brutal Souls series, Deracine is actually a calm, story-focused adventure game. As a faerie in an old boarding school, you’re led through the lives of the kids that live there, interacting with them to prove your existence.

The tale that’s told is interesting, and it uses VR in some unique ways, but it’s not up to the standard of the studio’s other recent titles. That being said, the trophy list is extremely easy. You will need a PSVR headset and two move controllers to play it, but at just five hours long, you won’t be with it for long.

For the platinum trophy, all you need to do is beat the game. None of the 17 trophies, which include just eight silvers, eight golds, and the platinum, are missable. Simply sit back and relax, and you’ll have all the trophies by the time the credits roll.

The final one, called The Grand Recital, might be a little confusing at first, due to how the game’s ending plays out, but just follow along the path you’re led down and the platinum will pop eventually.

Battlefield V

Battlefield V’s trophy list is significantly shorter than those of the last few games in the series. Rather than needing to hit particular levels, complete silly and difficult objectives, or play for hundreds of hours, the Battlefield V trophies are quite general.

Of course, some of the trophies are single-player related, and you will have to play on higher difficulties to get the platinum, but you’ll get a gold and three silvers for completing the three short War Stories on Medium. It’s far from the best Battlefield single-player, but the emotional stories are enjoyable.

Then, since there’s no Battle Royale mode in Battlefield V just yet, the rest of the trophies are for the classic multiplayer. Things like play on all the maps in Conquest, earn 100,000 as each class, and earn 500,000 score overall will all get you a gold trophy.

Very few of them are difficult, so with a fair amount of time and some experimentation with classes you’ll get a lot of the trophies on offer.

Farming Simulator 19

Farming Simulator 19, Farming Simulator

The Farming Simulator games aren’t for everyone. Some prefer the bombastic nature of the previously mentioned Battlefield series, or the story focus of the likes of Deracine. Other games have releases that focus on laid-back farming, but Farming Simulator 19 is more realistic than most.

Even if farming isn’t for you, and you’re more interested in how your trophy level is looking, Farming Simulator 19 would be a good choice. Thankfully, there’s only a set number of things you need to do to get all of the trophies in the game.

You’ll need to amass 10 million in turnover, breed 100 chickens, and cultivate, sow, fertilize, and harvest 100 hectares of land, and while that may seem a lot, once you’ve got your farm running well, it shouldn’t take too long. If you’re after something a little more realistic after hundreds of hours with Stardew Valley, maybe Farming Simulator 19 will be just for you.
