Dragon Ball FighterZ Open Beta Dates Announced

Bandai Namco has announced that the open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ will take place on Jan. 14 through Jan. 15. Those that pre-order the game will receive early access to the beta on Jan. 13.

Here are the start and end times for the beta:

Early Access: Jan. 13, 12am PT – Jan. 16, 12am PT

Open Beta: Jan. 14, 12am PT – Jan. 16, 12am PT

Currently, there are no details on what characters will be included in the beta. The closed beta held in September included: Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Cell, Buu, Frieza, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 16 and Android 18.

Recently, the game released its Jump Festa trailer, featuring three Dragon Ball Super characters including Beerus, Hit and Goku Black. Additionally, two new gameplay mechanics were revealed. One involves meeting conditions to use the actual Dragon Balls during a match, while the other incorporates iconic scenes from the anime.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26, 2018. Stay tuned for more information leading up to the game’s release.
