Destiny 2: When Prestige Leviathan Raid Goes Live

When Prestige Leviathan Raid Goes Live in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

After a long period of waiting, the prestige version of the challenging Leviathan Raid in Destiny 2 is going live. It was initially supposed to become available on Oct. 10, but due to an exploit that made the Calus encounter much easier, Bungie decided to hold it back. Unfortunately, in the time since delaying, the development team has not yet found a safe fix for this issue that doesn’t adversely affect the rest of the game, but that does not mean eager Guardians will have to wait any longer. Instead, the studio has figured out a way to tell who uses the exploit and will be pushing the prestige mode of Destiny 2’s Leviathan raid through.

This more challenging version of the raid will go live on Oct. 18 at 10 AM Pacificic/ 1 PM Eastern. At that time, you and your fireteam will be able to choose the prestige difficulty (which ups the recommended light from 270 to 300) for the Leviathan and test your mettle against the various challenges put forth by Emperor Calus and his most trusted guard.

Do keep in mind that this is an end game activity so it will require you to bring your very best weapons, armor, and team if you hope to emerge triumphant. Destiny 2’s prestige Leviathan Raid will not go easy on you in any way.
