While exotic gear might be the rarest in Destiny 2, there’s still a bunch of legendary gear that’s more than capable of earning a spot in your loadout. The Nameless Midnight scout rifle is exactly that, thanks to its powerful perks. You can check them out below.

Nameless Midnight Perks in Destiny 2

  • Precision Frame – Fires a long-range precision energy bolt. This weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical.
  • Red Dot 2 MOA – Snapshot sight. Short zoom. Increases range and handling speed.
  • Flared Magwell – Increases reload speed.
  • Explosive Payload – Projectiles create area of effect detonation on impact.

While the first three perks certainly help with using Nameless Midnight, it’s Explosive Payload that turns this legendary scout rifle into an absolute killing machine.

In order to get Nameless Midnight in Destiny 2, you’ll want to go ahead and complete two Strikes when you’re given the Milestone by Zavala. If you do this, you’ll be given the option of three weapons, one of which is this. If you opt to grab one of the others, fear not. You can still get Nameless Midnight by handing in tokens to Zavala that you get from completing Strikes. Each time you level him up, you’ll be given an engram, so just cross your fingers that this sweet scout rifle is inside.
