We already know that Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel will feature some sort of special PVP mode or arena where players can battle it out with each other. Bandai Namco has just released a new trailer showing off the PVP aspect of the upcoming DLC. You can check out the trailer down below.

While no details were given about the PVP arena, it looks like covenants in the base game will be made more relevant again, and players might actually be able to fight each other in 3V3 team fights. The trailer also seemed to show off a special, closed off arena where the players could engage each other. So it’s likely that covenant members can actively team up in a group of three, enter the arena, and face off against an opposing group.

The DLC is looking pretty neat so far, and we should get more details in the coming days. Dark Souls III is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Ashes of Ariandel will be releasing later this month.
