Following yesterday’s little leak snafu, Sony has just released the official trailer for the first Dark Souls III DLC: Ashes of Ariandel. You can check out the new trailer down below.

From the trailer alone, it looks like players will get to visit a new snow-covered level, complete with a castle that’s rather reminiscent of Cainhurst from Bloodborne. There will also be wolf-type enemies. Let’s just hope they won’t have annoying superarmor like the icy hedgehogs from Dark Souls II’s Ivory King DLC, hmm?

In addition to that, we also get a glimpse at some of the new bosses, including a giant figure that seems to be wielding a large Lordvessel that holds lava. Of course, it might not be a Lordvessel at all, but it certainly does resemble one. Aside from the single-player content, Ashes of Ariandel will also introduce new weapons, spells, armor sets, and other features for PVP lovers.

Personally, I have no clue what the lore in this one’s gonna touch on, but my money’s on the painted world of Ariamis from Dark Souls. What are your thoughts on the trailer? Let us know in the comments down below.

Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel will be made available on October 25. The game is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
