Capcom Celebrates Resident Evil Village’s Release With Spooky Launch Trailer

Resident Evil Village is the eighth mainline entry in Capcom’s popular survival horror series, and it’s set to be released for PC and consoles this week. To get you hyped for the game, Capcom has just pushed a launch trailer, which you can check out for yourself down below:

The trailer doesn’t show off anything we haven’t already seen before, and outlines the basic plot of the game. After surviving the horrors of the Baker estate, Ethan and Mia move to Europe and have a daughter. However, Mia is soon killed by Chris Redfield and the BSAA, and Chris takes their daughter Rose as well.

Ethan then tracks Rose down to Castle Dimitrescu, where there are tons of other horrors awaiting him.

Resident Evil Village is set to be released for PC and consoles on May 7.
