We’re not out of the woods just yet when it comes to big video game releases for 2017. We’ve still got plenty more coming, namely in terms of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, for one, for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo doesn’t want us to forget about the massive role-playing game that’s coming down the line either, and thus we have a Japanese trailer that shows off a good clip of what’s to come in the game.
The game follows the scavenger Rex and a living weapon known as Pyra, a Blade. You’re on your way to find her home while leading a whole group of Blades before the world comes to an end. You’ll explore worlds that take place on the back of enormous creatures called Titans as well as get to know a mighty large cast of characters as well. There are several different regions and cultures to get to know nestled throughout the world of Alrest, and it looks like a lot of fun to uncover.
Xenoblade Chronicles is headed to Nintendo Switch on Dec. 1, so you’ll have plenty of time to add it to your holiday wish lists.
