A video that compares the graphics of the original release of the Batman: Arkham games and the remastered versions in the Return to Arkham collection has revealed the latter’s new release date.
Batman: Return to Arkham was initially scheduled for release in July but was delayed indefinitely just weeks before the release. It was rumored that the delay was due to frame rate and resolution issues but the game will now release on October 18.
Return to Arkham includes remastered versions of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, as well as all the previously released DLC for each game. The game will not be coming to PC, which is understandable after the problems with the release of Arkham Knight on the platform.
The five minute video, which you can see above, compares scenes from the original releases with the versions that will be included in the new collection. Textures, colors, and facial animations all look significantly better than they did originally.
Batman: Return to Arkham will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 18.
