Square Enix recently announced that they are working on a brand new Deus Ex game called Deus Ex: Mankind divided. The game will be a new installment in the popular Deus Ex series which shows us a futuristic world where the gap between humanity and technology has almost completely closed.

The previous game, Deus Ex: Human Revolution was well received by both gamers and critics alike and rightly so. It told the story of Adam Jensen, a human who was given augmentations against his will and was one of the first humans to have such enhancements. The game was praised for its beautiful graphics, immerse atmosphere, open locations, and its ability to allow players to play in whatever style they wished.

Being stealthy and using your augmentations to get past guard without ever being noticed was an option in Human Revolution, but the problem was, you couldn’t defeat bosses using stealth. This meant that some players had spent all their experience points in stealth upgrades and were very vulnerable when they were forced to go head to head against a boss. This was one of the few serious issues the game suffered from.

Luckily, it seems that the developers of Mankind Divided have learned from this mistake and it seems that players will not only be able to beat the game without raising any alarms,. but they’ll also be able to defeat bosses without having to resort to brute force or open gun fire. A fan on Twitter asked the game’s Director, Jean-François Dugas, if stealth will make a return to Mankind Divided and he responded thusly:

It’s great to see that everything is going to be tightened up for Mankind Divided. We can’t wait to get more details on the title. No release date has been confirmed so far but you can expect to play it on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC.
