Assassin’s Creed: Origins is one of the most anticipated games of the year and, after months of leaks and rumors, was officially announced earlier this year at E3. The game will be set in ancient Egypt and will tell the story of the origins of the assassins.
It would be fair to say that the Assassin’s Creed games haven’t always worked as well on PC as they have on consoles. Assassin’s Creed: Unity didn’t launch very well on consoles but was just about unplayable for PC gamers. On Twitter, a fan asked Origins’ Game Director Ashraf Ismail to please make a good PC port of the game, to which Ismail replied.

The Assassin’s Creed series took a year off in 2016 in order to focus solely on Origins and it seems the development team has taken to heart the lessons learned by past games. We’ve seen plenty of gameplay footage of Origins in action and it certainly looks like the game has the potential to be the best in the series. Here’s hoping it delivers on its ambition.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27.
