One of Ubisoft’s most highly anticipated games, Tom Clancy’s The Division, has finally been given a release date. Players can look forward to an online open world action RPG that focuses heavily on cooperative gameplay. Tom Clancy’s The Division is set in a location called the dark zone, which is a quarantined contaminated area in the middle of manhattan.

In the game, players will encounter other players and must make a choice whether to work alongside the other players, kill them for their gear, or simply leave them alone. That is, unless the other players decide to attack you first, in which case you will be forced to flee or defend.

In Tom Clancy’s The Division, players will be able to trust no one. In the gameplay demo trailer, we see as a one team encounters another, works together with them at first, and then later betrays them to steal their gear.

At the very end of the video, one player of the team who committed the betrayal decides to betray the other two members of his team and walks away solo. The game will be filled with tension, fear, paranoia, and that feeling that anything can happen at any time.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is available for those who are at E3.  If you’re there, The Division is hands on playable at their booth.

For the rest of us, there is still some good news. There will be betas released for The Division on Xbox One, PS4, and PC starting in early 2016.

And even better news, The Division will be available for purchase on March 8th, 2016 on all platforms simultaneously.

Have you been looking forward to this game for a while? Are you excited about this announcement? Be sure to let us know how you feel about Tom Clancy’s The Division in the comments.
