Star Wars: The Old Republic will be getting a new expansion called Knights of the Eternal Throne this Fall. Details on the expansion are sparse, but the DLC promises “more of BioWare’s cinematic storytelling” and “exciting new game features,” as well.
As GameStop reports, to help get players pumped, you can get a free trial of the first chapter of the previous DLC, Knights of the Fallen Empire. The release of the new expansion will also mark the base game’s fifth anniversary, so expect to see a lot of build up over the next few months.
Whilst exact details on the expansion may be scarce now, no doubt BioWare will open up about it as the release date draws closer. Here’s hoping we get some juicy news soon! Until then, keep your lightsaber close at hand.
