PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was launched earlier this year on Steam’s Early Access and has since become a huge hit for its Hunger Games style gameplay which sees 100 players battle it out over a large open map until only one is left standing. Despite still not being totally finished, the game has proved to be a huge hit with gamers and Twitch streamers and it has been announced that it has already sold over 7 million copies since its release in March.

As SteamSpy reports, the game is owned by over 7 million people and it has registered a 617K concurrent users playing the game, very impressive given it has not even been officially finished yet. The game currently costs 29.99, meaning it will have made over $200 million since being released.

Plenty of work is still being done on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with more content and updates coming soon. The game is also set to be released on the Xbox One via the Game Preview feature before the end of the year and is also expected to eventually see a release on the PS4.
