After months of silence on the upcoming Mirror’s Edge sequel, it seems the news is now flooding in! It was recently announced that the Mirror’s Edge sequel would be called Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, and now the box art for the game has been revealed by non-other than Amazon.
It appears that given the announcement of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Amazon UK decided to update the listing for the game and reveal the box art.
As you can see, the box features a great shot of Faith in action and, strangely, the title of the game runs down the side of the box. This is no doubt to go along with the sense of verticality that the parkour game features.
It has also been announced that Dark Horse Comics will be publishing a six-part comic book series that will reveal more about the character of Faith. The comic will be called Mirror’s Edge Exordium and will be written by the game’s Narrative Director Christofer Emgard and will feature art from Emgard and DICE’s very own Mattias Haggstrom, Robert Sammelin, Henrik Sahlström, and Erik Persson. The first issue will be available on September 9th for $4.
We’ll no doubt heart more from Mirror’s Edge at this year’s E3.
