The Ending
There are seven ending in FNaF World, but only one seems to fit into the continuity of the series. That ending is the Clocks ending. When dealing with the secret story you will be tasked with finding and setting clocks. If you collect all of them you are directed to not go for the final boss, but to instead head to a secret portal in the game. The lines in this ending are almost exactly like those from FNaF 4 if you complete night 6.
In FNaF 4 Fredbear says:
We are still your friends. Do you still believe that? I’m Still here. I will put you back together.
In FNaF World these lines are said during the Clocks ending:
We are still your friends. Do you believe that? The pieces are in place for you. All you have to do is find them. Rest.
When you add that to the last line of the opening from when you first boot up the game (” But I won’t let the same happen to you. I will put you back together.”) you have almost the exact same message. That places this game after the events of FNaF 4 and before FNaF 2. But most importantly, it shows that perhaps the bite victim didn’t die at the end of the fourth game as the flat-line that can be heard led many to believe.
The victim is still alive, but fighting from the dark realm that is a coma. This time the animatronics are no longer nightmares, but instead they’re actively fighting for him. They are working to lead him back to consciousness, but it will require a bit of work from him as well since there’s only so much they can do (they are all in his head after all).
Fredbear ends the game by telling you to rest, probably so you don’t fall deeper into that rabbit hole that is your shattered mind. The “glitches” were likely due to the injury sustained to your brain after getting your skull crushed, so resting is necessary before pushing on.
The ending is sort of abrupt, even after putting in all that work, which may lead to another game. We may be getting closer to the truth of what happened to that victim. As Fredbear stated, all of the pieces are in place, all the boy needs to do is put them to use, and finally get to the bottom of the mystery that is FNaF.
