Skyrim mages have access to a wide variety of spells, with some that are meant for combat while others are better for navigation. When you’re exploring dark tunnels, you’ll always want to have a light with you during these times. Both Candlelight and Magelight are great options, but they often fall flat due to bad lighting and awkward positioning.

Luckily, this Skyrim mod smoothes things out by overhauling these two spells. Here’s everything the mod adds to the game:

• The intensity of the light has been decreased from 2.5 to 1.0
• The blinding mist around a projectile is greatly decreased and almost not noticeable.
• Meshes and lights had been recolored from cold blue to warm orange.
• Base duration was increased from 60 to 90 seconds.
• The light radius has been doubled
