Saint-Denis will feature a new map with single and co-op missions.

Dead Kings seems to take place predominantly underground, where some of the main Unity storyline takes place. Arno will be exploring decrepit crypts deep under the surface with numerous puzzles and enemies to defeat.

Ubisoft describes the map as a “subterranean warren of tunnels and chambers,” with the cinematic trailer revealing the depth of the underground network Arno is to explore.

The Dead Kings DLC is set to bring more darkness to the Arno Dorian Saga, and after a touching ending to the main Unity storyline, this seems like the right step forward. Arno is searching for isolation and meaning, attempting to leave his past behind, and hopefully Saint-Denis will bring some sort of closure to his continuing story.

Assassin’s Creed Unity: Dead Kings will be released on the 13th of January on all consoles and PC.
