Today Bandai Namco revealed that the newest Tekken 7 playable character Lidia Sobieska has a real-life Karate soul.
The motion capture for her moves was performed by Tatsuya Naka (portrayed at the bottom of the post), instructor of the Japan Karate Association.
The announcement was accompanied with a video on the Kuro-Obi channel, showing Naka-sensei in action during the motion capture sessions.

Born in 1964, Tatsuya Naka is ranked 7th Dan in the traditional Shotokan Karate style. He has won several high-profile competitions and starred in the films Black Belt, High Kick Girl!, and Karate Girl.
