Splatoon Wins Best Multiplayer at The Game Awards

Are you a kid or a squid?

Splatoon, sequel, 2015

Coming up against big hitters like Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Nintendo scored a big win with Splatoon taking home the award for Best Multiplayer this year.

Splatoon is a Wii U exclusive shooter where you take control of a colorful squid kid that shoots paint guns. As goofy as it sounds, it’s actually a surprisingly immersive and tactical shooter where you have to weigh the risks and rewards of going after enemies or spreading as much paint as possible.

Splatoon is now available exclusively on the Nintendo Wii U.
