Coming up against big hitters like Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Nintendo scored a big win with Splatoon taking home the award for Best Multiplayer this year.

As goofy as it sounds, it’s actually a surprisingly immersive and tactical shooter where you have to weigh the risks and rewards of going after enemies or spreading as much paint as possible.
