Sims 4 Farming Mod

The Sims 4 Farmland Is an Upcoming Farming Mod for Eager Simmers

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

If you’re a Simmer, then you know that there are a few things we ask for. Cars, better babies, bunk beds, and of course– a farming expansion. However, we don’t always get exactly what we want from The Sims 4 team, so the community adapts by creating such features through mods themselves.

Content creator and player Arnie has become well-known in the Simming community due to his unique open world mod for The Sims 4. This is a feature many fans have missed from The Sims 3, so the community was very excited to see Arnie’s mod hit the web.

Recently, however, it has come to light that he has not only produced that masterpiece, but is working on yet another one– The Sims 4 Farmland, a mod dedictaed to farming. Check out the teaser below.

The Sims 4 farming mod will feature a semi-open world with five lots in the middle of the map where Sims can live, and an expansive open interactive area surrounding them with a farm for your Sims. They will be able to harvest vegetables and other crops, go to school, work, or marry other Sims in the Love Temple. They will also be able to go to different places such as shops and restaraunts without making you endure those tragic loading screens.

Arnie’s mod world in inspired by various cultures, from Italy to Slovenia and Switzerland to America. Players will be able to build their own farm, have farm animals such as cows (real cows this time– not fake ones like the game itself offers), and sell their fresh produce at a farmer’s market or directly to grocery stores and shopping centers.

Did we mention that you’ll be able to have your own vineyard? Your Sim can live out the real wine mom dream, finally.

On top of all this, there will be a story mode that lets you follow the adventures of a farmer discovering secrets in the new world, a a feature inspired by The Sims 3’s World Adventures.

Make sure to follow Arnie’s Patreon for more updates and to support him! We do love some good Sims content creatores. While you wait for more information about Farmland, check out some of the new Sims 4 Snowy Escape cheats to ease your current gameplay experience.
