This Sea of Thieves Megafan Made a Sick Looking Controller Holder and Shows You How to Make Your Own Too

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Think you’re the biggest Sea of Thieves fan? Maybe you are, but this guy is going out there and proving it. What have you done lately?! Bernd AKA Spielberger AUT (YouTube, Facebook), a member of various Sea of Thieves communities, created an amazing looking holder to go with the already awesome looking official Sea of Thieves Xbox One controller. While it’s cool looking on its own, you know, with kraken tentacles and stormy sea aesthetic, it really “shines” when in the dark. See for yourself:

Considering the game isn’t even out yet, it’s awesome to see so many people take a liking to Rare’s latest. While it’s too early to tell whether or not Sea of Thieves will live up to the hype, it’s looks like there will at least be a built-in audience of passionate fans that just want to be virtual pirates based on how quickly community groups such as ones found on Facebook are growing.

What’s great is that Bernd also created a YouTube video where he shows how he made the holder. If you have a creative bone, and want to take a stab at it, give the video below a look. If you’d rather just admire Bernd ‘swork and just play the game, you can do that when Sea of Thieves releases on March 20. For now, you can check out our early impressions of the game.
