A brand-new trailer for River City Girls 2 just got shown off during today’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase. The game is once again being developed by WayForward and published by ArcSystem Works, and the video gives us a short but sweet look at the gameplay for the sequel while listing off a few new features in this return to River City.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the game for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch when it launches in summer 2022.
This time around, the game will feature two-player online co-op and a roster of six characters. Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, and Riki are joined by Marian and Provie here as they all use new moves in a larger version of the city that contains several new areas.
You can check out the trailer for yourself to see Misako, Kyoko, and the others in action as they fight their way through various locations using a few of those added techniques.
There’s no set release date yet for River City Girls 2, but if you’re looking to get your hands on the first game that was released back in 2019, you can purchase it for all major consoles and PC as well.
