Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally upon us, and while we are all well aware that Rockstar’s newest epic open-world adventure will be nothing short of beautiful, this brings us to the question: Will Red Dead Redemption 2 run at native 4K?
Well, according to the official Xbox France Twitter account, the game will indeed run natively in glorious 4K. Do we know what that exactly means? No. But what we do know is that Red Dead 2 will definitely look best on the Xbox One X.

We play lots of video games here at Twinfinite and while we try to keep up with the news and everything that’s happening in the world of video games, it can be hard to keep up with the terminology when it comes to graphics, 4K, Ultra 4K, native resolution, upscaling, HDR, and all of that other nonsense. But hearing that one of our most anticipated games of this year or even this generation will be one of the best-looking games of all time makes us very very happy.
Red Dead Redemption 2 serves a prequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption and follows the story of Arthur Morgan. A beta for the online multiplayer mode, Red Dead Online, will be launching sometime in November.
Red Dead 2 is set to release on Oct 26 for PS4 and Xbox One.
