Pokemon Twitter Account Teases More Exciting News for Later Today

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

The official Pokemon Twitter account has recently posted a teaser urging fans to follow an upcoming press conference in Japan later today, along with a gif of excited Pikachus. While they hadn’t dropped any hints about what will be shown, we’re guessing it’ll have something to do with the “shocking” news that was teased just yesterday.

“Attention, Trainers! A Pokémon press conference is about to begin in Tokyo, Japan,” the tweet reads, “You’ll want to turn your notifications on for this! Follow along today for exciting Pokémon news!”. If this is part of yesterday’s “shocking news,” then we can expect something completely new in Pokemon history. Whatever the case, they seem to have some exciting things in store.

That said, everything’s pretty much up in the air. The announcement could be in relation to the Nintendo Switch game, or it could be pointing to new merchandise. We’ll keep you updated with more Pokemon news later today, so make sure to follow Twinfinite!
