Fans are treated to the opening section of the game’s second chapter titled “A Kingdom to Come.” In the footage, protagonist Evan is still coming to terms with the idea of becoming the kingdom’s leader. He explains to his new companion, Roland, that the road ahead will be far from easy should they continue, especially considering how the Kingmakers are a powerful enemy that lie in wait.

As if unperturbed by the challenges that await them, Evan and Roland proceed to wipe out dozens of minions in the footage that remains. The game’s over world is neatly displayed for fans to take in, as its sparkling bridges and rolling hills are both worthy enough to marvel at. There’s also a desert area shown off in the video, one in which the protagonist and his pal chat with a traveling merchant and obtain a Leafbook. As the video explains, this item will come in handy for communicating with other people found in the game.

In case you missed it, Bandai Namco also recently released videos showcasing the music found within Ni No Kuni II and an overview of the city of Goldpaw. The game will finally release on March 23 for PS4 and PC.
