The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Diverse Weaponry Gets Shown Off in New Video

You found the Bokoblin Arm!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now less than a year away from its release and, after E3 2016, fans could not be more excited. Showing off an extensive demo and being the main attraction for Nintendo at E3, it seems Nintendo is putting forth a lot of effort to make the upcoming title as polished as possible for its fans.

Today, Nintendo of America posted on their twitter page a gameplay video featuring some of the unique weapons that will be seen in the game:

As indicated by past trailers, Link will be equipped with the standard sword, as well as a bow, but this time he can also be armed with an axe, which appears to deal lethal amounts of damage, or a Bokoblin Arm, which can be used at close range, but can be thrown as well.

The last of the weapons demonstrated shows that Link will now be using runes as well. In the footage, Link used what appear to be fire runes, but the full game may feature other runes as well.

The weapons shown in the footage already indicate an impressive array of weapons to use against the evil forces of Hyrule. This is especially important, as the best weapons to use in past games, strategically, were often the sword and the bow, with some variation between games.

Now that we’ve seen some new weapons from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we can only imagine what other possibilities there are. What weapons would you like to see in Breath of the Wild? Be sure to let us know by commenting below.
