A few more details have been squeezed out of Origin’s official page for the game, including four new screenshots and our first word on the game’s multiplayer. It looks like four-player co-op is returning from Mass Effect 3, though this time around, loadouts will be class-based.

“Multiplayer in Mass Effect Andromeda places you into a class-based, 4-player co-op fire-team experience. Team up with three of your friends to take on the enemy threat and protect the interests of the Andromeda Initiative,” the listing said.

This shift to a class-based system almost sounds like the recently-released Gears of War 4’s Horde mode, which also shifts to pre-set classes as opposed to previous games. Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer was a surprising success back in 2012 and was one of the early adopters of the random box microtransactions that are commonplace among multiplayer games today.

There are a lot of other details about Andromeda from today, and we’ve compiled them all here for your convenience.
