Lo and behold, the NES Classic Edition will be returning to stores this June 29. Nintendo took to Twitter to share the good news, “This system and the SNES Classic Edition system are expected to be available through the end of the year.”

That being said, the device will cost $59.99, just as it did when it launched back in 2016. Similarly, it will also come pre-loaded with the same games, including titles such as Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, and Super Mario Bros. Nintendo put the production on standstill back in April 2017, a few months after it went on sale. The device was a huge hit among consumers, with stocks quickly going out of stock even as soon as shipment arrived at stores. As it stands, the company has revealed that the gaming device has sold over a whopping 5.28 million units.
Back during September of last year, Nintendo had mentioned that they would be re-releasing the NES Classic Edition in increased numbers this summer 2018. If you’ve been meaning to get your hands on the console, now’s your chance.
