Nvidia Lets GeForce Experience Users Play Games With Instagram-Styled Filters in New Update

Nvidia announced a new feature for its GeForce Experience client today which adds over 15 image filters for players to apply while playing a PC game.

The Nvidia Freestyle feature can change the look of supported games with post-processing filters or changes to saturation. There is even a colorblind filter for those having trouble differentiating between colors, and a night mode to reduce blue light for a better night of sleep. According to Nvidia’s blog post, the full list of 15 filters with “38 different settings” are:

• Adjustments
• Black and White
• Color
• Colorblind
• Contrast
• Depth of Field
• Details
• Exposure
• Half Tone
• Mood
• Night Mode
• Retro
• Sepia
• Special FX
• Vignette

Over 100 games will support the Freestyle filters, including Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: WWII, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Dota 2, and Rocket League. Check out the full list of supported games here.

The filters will be available in beta on Jan. 9, and require the latest GeForce Experience update (release 3.12) and graphics card driver (release 390). The feature can be found by turning on  Experimental Features from the settings menu.
