The game is set in a world threatened by the Miasma, and it’s up to the main party to protect the crystal’s energy while traveling across the world, and solving puzzles to proceed.

What’s great about this game is that players actually have the ability to create their own characters as well, choosing from different races and preset body types. There’s also multiplayer functionality for up to four players in one session.

We’ll embed the new Crystal Chronicles trailer down below as soon as it’s available.

Crystal Chronicles was one of the more unique spin-off games in the series, thanks to its co-op mechanic. There’s still no set release date for the game just yet, except for a winter release window this year.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be coming to PS4 and Switch some time this winter. We’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way, so be sure to stay tuned to Twinfinite for more on that.
