Is WWE 2K19 Coming to Nintendo Switch?
Wondering whether or not WWE 2K19 is coming to Nintendo Switch? We got your answer.
Professional wrestling fans come in all shapes and sizes, from all walks of life, and each have their own personal preferences on their video game platform of choice. The more options the better, and there are plenty of WWE 2K fans that play on the Nintendo Switch as well of course. So last year, it was a pleasant surprise to learn that WWE 2K18 would be coming to Nintendo Switch. The portable/home console hybrid has plenty of great games, but ports of major franchises from third-party developers aren’t as common as you would expect given the success of the console.
However, although it’s great that 2K gave the ol’ college try, the result was a disaster. Last year’s edition ran horribly, and was a technical embarrassment. The game itself has a 35 average score from Metacritic and an even more depressingly low 1.6 rating from users. Ouch. The game didn’t set the world on fire on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One either, but at least in those cases, it was more about the gameplay not being great versus it actually being able to run competently at all.
So, fans looking for to WWE 2K19 might be wondering then if there are plans to try again, and release the game on Nintendo Switch. Maybe, 2K was rushing the first time around to get it to release on time, and with another year under their belt, they would be able to pull it off?
Sadly, there are no plans for WWE 2K19 to come to Nintendo Switch. 2K has confirmed that WWE 2K19 will not be coming to Nintendo Switch officially. They want to focus on making the other platform versions great, and left the door cracked open for a return down the line.
Although disappointing, it’s not incredibly surprising considering the poor reception to last year’s game. The does it for whether or not WWE 2K19 is coming to Nintendo Switch. Be sure to search Twinfinite for more FAQs answered.
