When TOWIE 2018 Starts

TOWIE, also known as The Only Way is Essex, is a British reality series based in Brentwood, England. Originally airing in 2010, the show follows the stories of real people and their personal lives. So far, there have been 21 seasons, with the next one slated to air this 2018. That being said, series fans are probably wondering when ITV will finally release the upcoming season.

Luckily, fans won’t have to wait too long since season 22 is slated to air on March 25. It’s worth noting that episodes will only air once a week, with each installment running for an hour long. Overall, there are 10 planned episodes for the series, with the cast now heading to Barcelona. Production hasn’t revealed why they chose to skip the “special” Marbella episode this time around, but the actors have spent three days filming in the Spanish city.

Incidentally, production has already announced that a number of cast members have been dropped, including Chris Clark, Amber Dowding, Mike Hassini, Jordan Brooks, Jack Rigden, and Ruby Lacey. TV personality Mario Falcone has also shared that he will not be returning to the show. Meanwhile, series newcomers include Dean Ralph, Jordan Wright, Clelia Theodorou, and Shelby Tribble.
