Lu Bu is one of the coolest and most badass historical figures in Chinese history, so, of course, you’ll be able to unlock him as a playable character in Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate as well. In order to do this, you have to progress in the game until you’ve reached chapter 3. The process to unlocking Lu Bu is twofold: first, you have to get Diao Chan as a playable character, and then you have to beat a certain chapter as her in order to reach him.

To unlock Diao Chan, simply clear chapter 3: Battle of Tong Gate – Redux. Once you’ve unlocked her, you’ll want to play as her and clear chapter 3: Battle of Osaka Castle. When playing through this chapter as Diao Chan, you have to locate Lu Bu and interact with him before he loses the battle. Once you’ve done this and cleared the chapter as per normal, you’ll be able to unlock Lu Bu as a new playable character in the roster.

Congratulations. You’ve successfully managed to unlock one of the most popular characters in the game, and you’ll now be able to play as him. Now, all that’s left is to unlock his iconic red horse in Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate…
