Wargroove is a brand new tactical turn-based strategy game developed and published by Chucklefish, and it’s absolutely packed with content. Aside from a story campaign, it also features multiplayer functionality. Here’s how you can play online and local multiplayer co-op with friends in Wargroove.

When you first boot up the game, you’ll see a Multiplayer option on the main menu. Select that, and you’ll have the option of either playing online or locally.

If you select the local option in Wargroove’s multiplayer menu, you can play with up to three other friends in one session. After choosing your desired map, terrain, and weather conditions, choose how many players you want to play with. If there are two or four players, it’ll be a free-for-all match. If there are three players, it’ll be a 2 v 1 match.

If you select the online option, you can either host a game or join one. Once you’ve connected to the Wargroove servers, you’ll see a list of the currently available multiplayer games, and you can join one from there. You can also hit the X button on Switch (Y on Xbox One) to join or create a new match.

Once you’ve pressed the button, you’ll be able to see the Join by Code option, Quick Play, and Host Game. Quick Play will automatically match you with another player, while Host Game allows you to set the parameters of the match.

If you choose to host a game in Wargroove, a code will be generated on the top of the screen, and you can give the code to a friend to allow them to join your lobby.

With either of these methods, you’ll be able to enjoy the game with friends via online or local multiplayer.

And that’s all you need to know about how to play local and online multiplayer co-op with friends in Wargroove. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
