Developed by Artdink and published by Square Enix, Triangle Strategy is a new tactical RPG that’s just been released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It serves as an homage to older games in the genre such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, and features a beautiful HD-2D graphical style that makes it feel just a little bit more modern. Here’s how to get Silver in Triangle Strategy.
Getting Silver in Triangle Strategy
- Silver can be obtained as a reward for completing battles.
Mental Mock Battles can offer them as a reward; just speak with Hossabara at the Encampment and check the list of battles to see what the rewards are. They’re also more commonly offered as rewards for clearing main story battles.
- You can also purchase them from Archibald at the Sundry Shop.
Archibald doesn’t always have it in stock, but it’s still worth checking his wares at the Encampment in between chapters, as that’s when his stock refreshes. He’ll sell you Silver for a small amount of Kudos.
What Silver Is Used For
Silver is one of the more precious resources you can get in Triangle Strategy, and it’s used for weapon upgrades. More specifically, it’s required for getting your weapon to the next level, which will unlock even more upgrade nodes for you to activate in the tree.
Not all units require Silver in order to reach weapon level 2, however; from what we’ve seen so far, it’s primarily the melee characters like Serenoa who require it. Because Silver is much harder to obtain than the other upgrade materials, you’ll definitely need to think carefully about who you want to use it on as you’ll never know when you’ll get another opportunity like that again.
That’s all you need to know about how to get and use Silver in Triangle Strategy. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
