How Long is The Evil Within 2?

The Evil Within 2 is broken up into 17 chapters, and it also has two semi-open world environments that you can take your time to explore. Because of this, the time it takes to beat the game will vary between players, depending on whether you want to pursue the game’s side missions or just blitz through the main campaign.

For our first playthrough, we took around 20 hours to beat the story. A good amount of time was spent exploring the open world environments and completing the major side missions that we encountered, though there were some optional events that we ended up missing. If you want to take the time to see everything that Union has to offer, your playthrough will probably take around 25 hours or more. We’ve included a list of all the chapter names in the game. They’re not very spoiler-y, but if you want to avoid seeing any and all story content before playing the game yourself, don’t look below.
