Restoring Health in Surge 2

There are actually a few different ways you can heal yourself in Surge 2 so you’re ready to jump back into the fight. We’ve broken these down for you below:

Using Medbays to Recover Health

The primary way you can heal yourself up in The Surge 2 is to simply find Medbays in levels.

Once you’re at a Medbay, walk over to the green + Medicine machines and use them. These will restore your health, as well as your Health Vials that you can use by pressing Circle on PS4 or B on Xbox One.

Medbays have a limited amount of uses each time they spawn, and they’ll also cause any enemies in the area to respawn, so make sure you’re prepared to fight your way through if you’re retracing steps.

Health Stations – How to Heal in Surge 2

In some areas of the map – like the detention center – you’ll notice a green+ machines. These are health stations. These health stations will restore your health completely back to full by pressing Circle on PS4 or B on Xbox One.

Keep in mind that these stations do have a limited amount of uses, though they do reset with respawns.

Health Restoration Implants

Finally, you’ll be able to find various implants as you make your way through The Surge 2. These can be used to grant you various passive abilities, and one of these enables players to regenerate their health over a short period of time.

It’s worth noting that implants do take up Battery in The Surge 2, which is indicated by the blue bar with a lightning bolt underneath your stamina.

You’ll need to ensure you invest in plenty of implants that improve your health and battery life for the few slots you have open, so you’ll need to pick and choose between which ones are more important to you.

How to Increase Max Health in The Surge 2

Every time you level up your character in The Surge 2, you’ll be given two points which can be poured into your Health, Stamina, or Battery bars.

By investing these in your Health stat, you’ll be able to increase the length of the bar, adding more blocks to it, and thus being able to take more damage as a result.
