SUPERHOT Mind Control Delete: How to Watch Real-Time Replays

Following on from the original game, SUPERHOT: Mind Control Delete is all about taking down countless red-glassed enemies in slow motion. Time only moves when you do, and so it’s down to you to solve these compelling slow-motion combat puzzles by using your expert shooter skills and the slow passing of time as your tools. When you’ve successfully pulled off a bad-ass combo and complete a level, though, you may be wondering how to watch replays in SUPERHOT Mind Control Delete.

How to Watch Real-Time Replays in SUPERHOT Mind Control Delete

The good news is that it’s incredibly simple. After you’ve killed the last enemy and things go into even slower motion for a bit, don’t push A (XB1) or X (PS4) to progress. To watch real-time replays, you’ll need to push Y on Xbox One or Triangle on PS4 at the end of a level instead.

You’ll then watch yourself take down enemies at lightning-fast real-time pace. It’s glorious and can look especially bad-ass if you were able to dispatch enemies quickly in a novel or interesting way.

This may seem self-explanatory, but the game can sometimes ask you to press a specific button on-screen during a level to watch replays. This won’t actually let you watch a replay of whatever it is you’ve just down at that exact moment.

Instead, we found that pressing Y on Xbox One when it appeared mid-level just saw us jumping instead. This also rapidly increases the speed of time passing while you’re jumping, so it’s definitely not something you want to do by mistake.
