When Snapchat Will Go Back to Normal

Recommended Videos

If you’re a Snapchat user, chances are you’ve already witnessed the latest update first-hand. Moving all of your friends’ stories over to where your direct snaps normally are has made things pretty messy, while also freeing up more space for Snapchat’s Discover section. The latest update has been far from popular, with users of the app hoping that Snapchat will at some point go back to ‘normal.’

Unfortunately, chances are we’ll never see the app go back to normal. This latest update gives Discover even more realty space, allowing the company to bring in more revenue from commercials, sponsors, and other agreements with other global brands. While there’s always the chance that Snapchat may see the outcry (like this petition with over 1.2 million signatures to revert to the old layout), for now there’s no official statement from the company itself to suggest it’s planning to revert back to the preferred layout. As always, if we get word that the app is to revert back to its old, ‘normal,’ layout, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know. For now, though, you’ll just have to cross your fingers and hope.
