How to Move Objects in Raft

Recommended Videos

Raft, a game developed by Redbeet Interactive, starts players on a small wooden raft in the middle of the ocean to try and fend for themselves. You can play either alone or with friends to try and construct the ultimate floating home, but be wary of the man eating sharks and everything should go as plan, we hope.

One of the biggest components of Raft is making sure every item you place down is in the correct spot, because space is so limited. What happens if you place something in the wrong spot? How do you move it? Moving items in Raft can be a little confusing, since you can’t just pick up the item and put it wherever you like, but don’t worry, we have the answer for you!

For most items you simply have to destroy it with your axe to pick it back up in your inventory and then place it somewhere else. Some objects, however, like the Water Purifier, can’t be broken directly, so you will have to break the floor beneath it in order to regain that item to your inventory, which can then be moved to another location.
