Pokemon Quest: How to Recharge Battery

Recharging Battery in Pokemon Quest

Recommended Videos

Your main goal in Pokemon Quest is to go on expeditions around the island to unlock more of the map and strengthen your team. However, because this is a free-to-play game, you can’t simply go on expeditions whenever you want. There are limitations to that, and this is where the battery mechanic comes in.

Simply put, the battery mechanic is similar to the energy function you’d see in most freemium games. Once your battery is depleted, you’ll have to wait a while for another charge to come in so that you can go on more expeditions and continue playing. Every expedition will cost you one battery charge, and you’ll have to wait about 30 minutes before you get another one. However, there is an easier way to stock up on charges at the start of the game. If you tap on the quests icon at the bottom left corner of the screen, you’ll see a list of various challenges you can complete for extra rewards. Rewards include PM Tickets, cooking ingredients, as well as battery charges. Try to complete as many as you can, and you’ll be charged up again in no time.

Alternatively, if you have PM Tickets to spare, you can use those to go on another expedition without having to wait.
