How to Upgrade the Sling in Plague Tale Innocence
The sling is very important in the game, as it can be used to take on enemies, break items to progress, and distract the rats so that you can move past them. However, you’ll need to improve it as you play so that you can be safer as you explore.
You’ll only be able to upgrade your items, including the sling, once you reach the old woman’s house in chapter two. Outside her house, you’ll find a workbench, which you’ll be able to use.
The workbench allow you to upgrade your equipments, so that you can carry more, improve your sling, and do other things that’ll help as you play. Once you’ve got the point where you can use the workbench at the old woman’s house, you’ll have access to every other workbench you come across.
What Materials You Need
To upgrade the sling you need some of the materials that are scattered around the world. You need quite a lot of each one, with it increasing for each tier of the sling. Here’s exactly what you need for each tier of the sling and the pouch:
- Tier 1: 1 Leather, 1 Tools
- Tier 2: 7 Saltpeter, 4 Fabric, 9 Cord, 1 Tools
- Tier 3: 10 Saltpeter, 6 Fabric, 15 Cord, 1 Tools
- Pouch Tier 1: 7 Alcohol, 3 Leather, 1 Tools
- Tier 2: 9 Alcohol, 7 Leather, 4 Cord, 1 Tools
- Tier 3: 10 Alcohol, 12 Leather, 9 Cord, 1 Tools
Since you need so much, be sure to search the land thoroughly as you explore, because everything that you can carry will end up being useful.
